<p>Grades and SATs are not quite what UNC likes to see, but depending on what county in NC, your essay and recommendations, you may get deferred in Jan. and then possibly waitlisted in March. First generation does matter. If you really want to go, hang in there! You should be proud of your accomplishments and other good NC schools will love to have you. Best wishes!</p>
