<p>Hi CCers, I want to know my chances of getting into the University of Washington. Somebody please tell me if these are remotely good enough?</p>

<p>Asian</p>

<p>3.1 cumulative GPA</p>

<p>1950 SAT
720 SAT Math 2
710 SAT Chemistry</p>

<p>AP World History - 3
AP US History - 4
AP Chemistry - 3
AP Calculus AB - 4
AP Calculus BC - 5
AP Computer Science A - 3
Honors English (10th, 11th)
Honors Biology</p>

<p>EC:
Robotics (managed to compete in world championship in Texas and Florida, but did not win)
Band
Key Club
Spanish Club
Invisible Children
~50 hours of community service at hospital</p>

<p>Didn't do many sports, although I did compete in varsity track for sprint events back in 9th grade lol. Also did JV tennis in 10th.</p>

<p>I know I have a pretty low GPA, but do I have the faintest chance of getting in? I want to major in CS or EE. My math and science grades were around C+ to B- in 9th and 10th grade, but improved later on.</p>

<p>Well UW’s gpa is 3.7-3.9 average I believe, so you’re clearly below average there. SAT wise you’re around the average. Are your ECs enough to tip? that’s probably the question. A reach, IMO. Besides robotics your ECs aren’t anything particularly special.
Improvement’s good but I’m not sure it will be enough.</p>

<p>Didn’t see your SAT IIS. Those will help (they’re good for UW) too. Still a stretch. You never know though.</p>
