<p>I think that with stats alone, I should be pretty safe… BUT, I also applied to Cal, UCLA and Davis. The SLO engineering program looks really good (Major: ME), but I’m scared they’ll reject me thinking I’m only applying as a safety school. What do you think?</p>

<p>how would they know you applied to UCs? its not the same application. they won't reject you based on what they may think you may think of them, they will accept you based on what they think of you. you should be fine.</p>

<p>That's a relief. Thank you! I read in the thread "Strange acceptance/rejection combos" that some colleges reject applicants who are using the school as a safety. That's the only reason I had any concern. Hopefully it's unneccessary.</p>
