<p>I'm applying regular decision and i wanted to know if anyone thinks i have a chance of getting accepted
Stats:</p>

<p>SAT: 1970/2400 1310/1600
SAT II: US History 700, BIO 650
Course load: five at the end of the year (Lang-4, Chem, US-4, BIO, Lit) all other courses honors.
GPA: 3.7 UW
Rank: 18/100</p>

<p>EC: Policy Debate 3 years (captain and founder) did well at nationals and state level comps, Orchestra viola-first chair for four years, chamber orchestra (same), literary team - argumentative essay, BETA club tutor for elementary school(top five club in the nation), NHS, NSHHS, Activist club (founder and president), good bit of volunteer work.
Awards: Many class awards for individual subject highest score (H Latin III, Speech, etc).</p>

<p>Recs: extremely good. the teacher told me personally. Counselor is new this year but it should be fine.
Essays: very good i think. it is unique and shows my drive for my future career (medicine).
Come from a small private school in GA if location in US matters</p>

<p>i hope i didn't leave anything out. please tell me your honest opinions.</p>

<p>The good essays will certainly help. Do you have any hooks such as legacy status or minority status? Assuming no hooks, I unfortunately think that ND is going to be a reach for you. It is possible, since ND looks very closely at your essays, but the SAT's and rank are going to hurt you I am sorry to say. Let us know about the hooks but my honest opinion is that it is a pretty sizable reach. I am sorry! Good luck, I wish you the very best!</p>

activities: varsity bball, big bros big sisters, national honors society
hooks: great essay, asian, from hawaii.</p>
