I've taken 2 AP's in the past and I've always been an honors student.

I plan on majoring in Business or Communications. I also lived in Russia for the first 9 years of my life and hopefully that'll help me stand out since I want to go more specifically into International Trade and Business.

What are my chances? If anyone could help me it'd be highly appreciated Thank you!

You have a pretty good chance at GA Tech as of now. I’d say keep your GPA up don’t let it fall and obviously retake the SAT as you planned and focus on math. try to get 675-700. That will be good. Higher is better. Try the ACT as well. You still have time to. And have fun Senior year as well. Oh yea and write good essays. With a 2100 SAT or so you might even look beyond GA Tech. Good luck.

I don’t like chance threads, as they’re not really worth much. Just apply. But the above comment seems a little short sighted. A 630 Math SAT is very low for G, and a 2100 SAT + 3.8 GPA is about average for GT (actually a little below average on GPA, but still in range), not statistics where you’d “look beyond GA Tech”.

If you’re really set on Communications, GT doesn’t offer that. But the business school is very good.

Communications Engineering, coming Fall 2013
