<p>I'm by no means qualified to assess our chances at Duke. I've only been looking at this school in earnest since I got deferred from Harvard. However, I don't think that your SATs are too low for Duke. They seem to be a good fit. Maybe somebody else can tell you your chances.</p>
<p>thanks i appreciate your help. i've been driving myself crazy, trying to do better on the SATs and i'm just burn out. it makes me feel better you say that even if it's not neccessarily the case because i'm just wiped. i have six more applications to do, i have to read and annotate a book for ap lit, i have to do some tedious art project for lit, and i have to start working on my sociology winter session class i'm taking. i'm just exhausted. oh did i mention i'm working five days next week? winter break my butt. oh it's winter, but there is no break. on the bright side it's 70 deg outside right now! :)</p>
