I'm applying as a journalism and/or English major to:
American University
Boston University
Fordham University
Gonzaga University
Macalester College
Northwestern University (very much a reach, I already know)
Pacific Lutheran University (already accepted)
Seattle University
Syracuse University
University of Washington

any feedback would be lovely :) thank you! :)

you are definitely on par with the schools you applied to. as you said northwestern’s a reach and i’d say macalester is too (not to say you aren’t qualified, it’s just really hard to get into). i can’t see any possible way you wouldn’t get into fordham, gonzaga, seattle, or washington. american and bu seem like perfect matches. your scores and grades are where they should be and your ECs will help you stand out. best of luck!

I would say you are a match for the majority of your schools(Your ECs are particularly good in my opinion). Obviously a few of them have difficult admission standards so even though you may be qualified there is always a chance you won’t get it.

Overall your chance look really good. Northwestern is going to be tough to get into though and expensive if you do. I would also love to go there but even if I got in probably couldn’t pay for it without substantial aid.

I don’t know much about the schools that you applied to, but your test scores are good and your EC’s are great. Good luck to you in the college admissions process!

Thanks for chancing me! I think you have a good shot at most of these schools, but Northwestern may be tough. Your stats are a little below average for Northwestern, so it is going to be difficult to get in. It never hurts to try, so go for it! Good luck!
