<p>i did my best to write interestingly on those topics. do u think if my essays are <em>slightly</em> subpar i still have a chance given my other info?
the long essay, specifically, was about teenage rural kentuckians rejecting education about islam (personal experience at a summer program). academic team was about how the coach made me do pushups for every question i missed. YMCA was about how the kids scared me bc they were really hyper but they learned a lot, even though we didnt win any games. and the intellectually interesting was pretty much just about my research, not much room for nething more descriptive.</p>
<p>I had similar stats to yours and was deferred EA. Maybe coming from Kentucky will help a little. I would not be surprised if you got in, but I would also not be surprised if you were rejected.</p>
<p>I honestly don't know. I guess my essays, but I actually liked them. I was well-rounded but didn't have a knockout "hook" such as a national achievement to get me in. Maybe they already admitted several people like me and they needed someone with different skills. Admissions can be baffling.</p>
