<p>Hi I just found this site today and would appreciate some feedback on my stats for RD.</p>

Yale Book Award (probably nothing)</p>

<p>Extracurricular Activities:
President of School Debate Club
President of School Chess Club
President of School Philosophy Club
Won 3rd Place in regional Science competition and became an ISEF Finalist
Won 4th Place in category at ISEF
National Society of In-vitro Biology Award
County Proclamation for scientific excellence
Published letter to the Editor in Nature Magazine (Again, probably nothing, but it happened)
Concertmaster of School Orchestra
Performed as soloist (violin) in a regional performing Arts Center and as concertmaster at Lincoln Center
Master Classes with: Glenn Dicterow (violin), Nick Tzavarus (quartet), and Joshua Bell (violin)
Entered Area-All-State Orchestra for two years: both as assistant concertmaster.
Community Service:
Performed around 500 hours of community service at a retirement home.</p>

<p>count on it. I would be surprised if you got rejected.</p>

<p>ISEF, Lincoln Center, 2390 SAT = Extremely good chances . . . I like your stats. I hope there aren't too many like you applying to Yale, RD or many of us would be in trouble.</p>

<p>Thanks . . . but this is Yale, right??? Possibly the most prestigious university known to our generation??? Does anybody else have other opinions???</p>

<p>You never said your ethnicity, but you look like the typical Asian applicant: great test scores, ISEF, chess club, and music. With so many fellow violion playing, 2400-scoring, national science competition semi-finalists competing for a limited numbers of slots, people falling in this mold really have to walk on water to get in. Nonetheless, I think you will stand out even in that competitive pool. Good luck! Hope you join the class of 2010!</p>
