What school at Cornell?

3.4 is definately low, sounds like an abysmal freshman year followed by two solid years. The upward trend should help a lot.

2100 is ok, obvously 2250 is better.

Overall … going with a gut feel here – above average chance, but not a lock.

like zephyr said, your gpa isnt great, but as long as youre in an upward swing and increase your ranking thatll probably be ok. your EC’s are pretty terrible and at this point theres not much you can do about it. your SAT’s are decent (remember, they dont look at writing at cornell) but remember to take and do well on SAT II’s as well. if you write outstanding essays, get amazing recs, and do well on SAT II’s youll probably have a decent chance. if not, then you probably dont have a very good chance.

Well as long as your ranking is top 8% i think you have a pretty good shot given that you are URM AND low income and you have good AP scores to boot.

Thanks guys, any more opinions?
