I got in with a 3.3 and 30 ACT (which is similar to a 2060). I am also from the East Coast (NJ) but from public school. We have pretty much the same academic profile and the essays and activities really helped me as they want a well-rounded student who is talented and has volunteering hours. Make sure you visit the campus and try to keep in touch with your admissions counselor as that definitely helped the admissions process for me. Overall, our scores are pretty low for Pepperdine, as in the lower half of admitted students, but the essays and extra-curriculars will definitely help

Your SAT score is on the high end for Pepperdine, but your GPA is a bit lower than the average. Your extracurriculars seem very solid, though, so that will probably give you a nice edge. Make sure you get references from people who really know you and can attest to your work ethic, character, etc. because Pepperdine makes an effort to look at the applicant holistically and find people who “fit” the school. If that’s you, it seems like you stand a good change. Best of luck!

Hi I’m applying to Pepperdine too and have submitted everything so there is nothing I can do about it anymore…
But how to keep in touch with the admission counselor though? Could u please be more specific?? Thank you so much!!
