Chances

I know its very late, but I hope to have my app out by the first...

Im OOS, but in Ohio, which means that a ton of people have applied

Stats:

SatI- 2260 (800M, 740CR,720W)
ACT -35
SAT II- 800 Math II/790 US Hist/750 Bio M
GPA-4.0 UW (taken 13 APs, all As)

ECs: Vice President of a couple clubs/Student Rep
Work on a farm 40 hours/week during the summer for past 4 years
Community Service 100 hours

Do you think being from Ohio, I still have a shot? If not, ill be okay. Ive been accepted to OSU's honors program which will be good enough although Mich would be better.

You should get in.

You will get in, and probably be admitted to Michigan's honors program even though you applied so freaking late. Your stats are truly stellar and you are one of the few cases I would say still has over a 90% chance getting in when you applied so late. What is the deadline, by the way? And, why would you have a handle like OSU for me if you want to go Umich?

This is my brothers account. The deadline is Feb 1.

Being from Ohio, its tough to root for UMich. But academically, it is certainly better. Although OSU's honors program is decent.

In terms of academics:
OSU honors = Michigan average (I'm being generous here)
Michigan honors = Ivy league average (This might actually be generous to some of the poorer Ivies)
