Average GPA: 3.98
Mid-50% GPA: 3.75–4.22

Note: Each applicant is evaluated in the context of the high school(s) attended. Admissions’ review of grades is based upon the letter and/or numeric grades presented for each class, not the GPA. GPAs above reflect weighted and unweighted grades as reported by high schools. As a result, the GPAs of offered students vary widely.

Average SAT: 1250
Mid-50% SAT*: 1160–1340
(SAT scores reflect critical reading and math section scores only)

The GPA scale varies widely between counties and states. Your weighted GPA is not in the mid 50% but it’s close. Your aggregate SAT score looks like it may fall below the combo scores for math and reading. Keep in mind that the SATs for engineering school are higher than the averages noted above. At this point, I think your best bet might be University Studies with eventual transfer to Engineering. I’d suggest you try to study for the SAT and take it again. Work hard at your studies not only for the grades but to prepare yourself for the rigor of an engineering program.

You can apply engineering and get accepted into university studies, so no reason not to try for engineering. Study for and take the SAT again and try to get As again first semester senior year. It’s a reach but possible.
