School hasn't given me a class rank

Your GPA & ACT are fine to get into Pitt, esp. since you’re coming from out of state.

Chances of a scholarship are less. You’re not automatically UHC eligible since the ACT cutoff is a 32 (or a 1400 M+CR SAT). Your UW GPA is on the low side to get a scholarship, especially since NY is a more “popular” state that OOS students at Pitt come from. At best, you may get half-tuition, but I wouldn’t hold out for it.

I would agree with Awesome’s opinion. If you have peruse the previous threads on scholarships, you will realize that Pitt wants the higher stats. There have been cases where students with 34 ACT scores plus high GPAs not getting a full tuition scholarship. Of course, we don’t know what Pitt is looking for this year so apply and see what happens.

Ok thanks guys I think I realize I don’t have a good chance at getting money but I’m more concerned now about getting in. Pitt is my absolute top choice and I’m just paranoid

Do not worry bk you have great stats! Remember apply early and Pitt has rolling admissions so you can hear back in a reasonable amount of time. Two years ago when I applied, I applied at the end of October and received my acceptance letter/package right before Thanksgiving and my stats were not nearly as impressive as yours. I wish you the best of luck!
