I have an 87 average with an 1760 sat and 28 act. I will have taken 7 ap classes and 3 pre ap classes by the end of this year. I have about 40 hrs of community service and I work in the summer. I'm from ny. What are my chances for the NB campus?

It depends on what program you’re applying to. The pharm school is, I believe, one of the most difficult programs to get into. Your ACT score and your GPA looks good so there’s no denying that you have a shot. Did you participate in any extracurriculars? Just make sure to apply early and have a solid essay and you should be alright. What school, exactly, are you applying to?

Yeah, you should be with everything but the Pharmacy school.

If you have any extracurriculars that should help too. Though if I were you, I’d try to retake the SAT and see if I could get a slightly higher score. Not that you can’t get in with those scores, but every little bit helps.

As long as you are not applying to the pharmd program you should be fine. Also submit your ACT score and not your SAT score.

I’ve been a state finalist at DECA, regional qualifier at National History Day, newspaper and Model UN if that helps. I’ll be retaking both the SAT and ACT next month. Rutgers is my top choice and I feel so much better now. Thanks!

I think it would be better for you to send them your ACT score instead of SAT. Since you’re from NY, I’d apply as soon as they start accepting applications.

Anne, take a look at our admissions profile at [Rutgers Admissions | GPA’s and SAT’s of previously admitted students, by school](http://admissions.rutgers.edu/Academics/AdmissionsProfile.aspx).

Nice try, RUKnight, but it’s way funner to post a ‘chance me!’ thread.
