Let me know what my chances are and suggest any schools or tips to help me out. Be honest I need all the help I need. Also if there are any extra curriculars I could do to help myself, that would be nice to know. I am serious about medicine. My safety school is UW- madison. Thanks

I don’t know what type of schools you are looking at. UW (as it being a safety school) would accept you. You can almost anywhere so good job in high school ;). Heck if you can get recruited for soccer, then I can see you getting in to some Ivies.

Mainly looking at Yale, Princeton, Johns Hopkins and washU.

Makes sense, since I see some medical and surgery stuff in you ECs. All hard schools to get into so if you are going to play soccer in college, you can really raise your chances (not at JH as much though). My cousin is thinking of going to WashU and from what I understand is that if you get accept to Pre-Med there, then you are promised a spot in their Med school. I don’t know how it works BUT if you do some research on it and its true then that is great for you because then you don’t have to worry about apply for Med school. Your ECs are good and that perfect GPA is great (keep it up) but the lower end 31 will not help. But if you look you would still fit in these schools with a 31 (which is a great score). I think a yes for WashU and its a great school for Pre-Med students. Any Ivies are hard to judge but persuing soccer can increase chances.

Yeah the ivies selectivity is random… Like you could have an exact twin who does the same things as you and have same or lower scores, an they could get in and not you. And yeah I’m trying hard to get my ACT up. The reading and science really are killing me. Any help for those two sections? An thanks for your post. Do u know how many people gt accepted in their pre-med?

And washU I think will be my first choice college if I get accepted for Regular decision. But only if they give me good financial aid…
