I'm a female from Denver, CO and go to an IB school there. My dad is a Binghamton alum and I absolutely love the school and it is currently my top choice. I'm interested in going into Human Development and minoring in Spanish.

Academics:
In the IB diploma program, meaning I will graduate with 2 diplomas.
Classes Include:
IB Advanced Literature Studies (2 year HL class)
IB Math Studies
IB Psychology
IB European/World History (2 year HL class)
IB Spanish 4
IB Biology (2 year HL class)
as well as IB Theory of Knowledge, or TOK.
My GPA weighted is a 4.03 and I am not sure what that translates to on the East Coast.
I have taken the ACT and got a 28, but I am taking the ACT again as well as the SAT.
Top 14% of my class of about 350.

Part of the IB program is community service, I have about 115 hours right now, but will have 150 when I graduate.

ECs:
Varsity Swimming, (2009-present)
Varsity Golf (2010-present)
Highest Honor Roll/Academic Lettering (2009-present)
Freshman advisement leader (2010-present)
National Honor Society (2011-present)
Key Club (2009-2010)
I have a part time job at a restaurant, and have been promoted and working there since 2011.
I have been to a CTY (center for talented youth) summer program, which is academically selective.

Just want to see how much of a chance I might have?

I think you have a excellent chance. My Sons stats were similar to yours and we are from OOS as well. He got into the SOM and is currently attending Binghamton. He loves it.
10 kids from our school applied and 9 got in. They seem to be a bit more lenient wtih OOS applications. I guess they want the higher tuition. The full price OOS at Bing is only a bit higher then what he would have paid to stay In state in NJ although he would have gotten more money from the schools here in NJ. Make sure you apply early. My Son found out right after Christmas.

I think you definitely have a shot. Make sure to indicate Human Development as your major interest so you will be admitted directly into the College of Community and Public Affairs, which is what offers the HDev major.

I already answered your question on the other post you made about this. I have firsthand knowledge that my answer is correct. Just relax and you will find out before you know it. Is Binghamton your first choice? Are you in State?
