What are my chances at a transfer? Is it true that UC Berkeley only accepts second year transfers?

Id say your chances at Berkeley are pretty good (i think you will get in) but remember that berkeley only accepts second year applicants. Your SAT score is okay, but i think that college grades of your first semester overrides the fact. Also note that you are an out of state student, which may make things a little harder.
In all, your a competitive transfer applicant, being that you do well the following semesters (as well as you did the first semester)
good luck and take care.

2nd year transfer means you transfer after two years at your first college? or as in you apply during your freshman year in college and go there during sophmore year?
