INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT
Topped in my school External Exams.
in accordance to above Stats what are my chances at
1 Yale
2 Princeton
3 Boston university
4 U of Penn(Wharton)
5 Cornell
6 North Eastern University
7 JHU
8 Please Suggest some others if you feel so,

green29, which high school, i'm in nyc too
i actually think you have a fair shot at jhu- your test scores are sub-jhu but jhu really looks past that and looks at what kind of person you are. your ec's seem interesting. it will really come down to your essays and recs. Good Luck and i hope you get in
Other wise your other schools- you seem to have a reasonable chance. except cornell. your physics and math scores are no where near that of cornell's standards.

i think you have a reasonable chance in all your choices as well. But you will definitely be accepted into cornell, boston, northeastern.
Jhu is where you can't really tell because i hear jhu HATES kids that use them as a safety. Your stats imply that you are an ivy bound student (congrats).
Not sure on wharton though after seeing how selective they were this year.
What exactly is your intended major? The Wharton thing seems pretty random.

really thanks for your valuable advice.BTW ,You are right wharton is pretty random
intended majors -i am not sure if it will be business or Engineering. Thanks

Forget JHU and Cornell. Your stats aren't strong enough, even if you have a stellar essay and stellar recs. For the rest on your list, you're in the runnning.

i find it distressing .Everybody gives diametrically opposite advice.(my chances ...Indian student...stats).
I am stuck and back in the same state of confusion.I dont have a GC too.
Well i will be frank have u given me realistic advice.?????????????

Given your stats, Yale and Princeton are real reaches for your (as they are for almost every one). You'll probably be rejected by both. UPenn, especially Wharton, is tough to get into, and your stats would make you only an average applicant. Consequently, your chances of acceptance there are about average - 20%. JHU and Cornell are matches and I'd say you have a good chance at both. And BU and NE are definitely safeties for you and I think you'll be accepted at both.
