bump (this brings it back to the top right?)

bump (can anyone else give me any feedback?)

bump (any other feedback at all?)

bump bump bump

You will be FINE at Delaware, especially with the legacy. You posted on my thread about it and I just wanted to say that it is an excellent school. If I didn't have a strong desire to get out of Delaware, it'd be my priority to go there.

Judging by people of my school who've gone off to Maryland, I think you'll be fine there too.

I can't speak for the other schools, because I don't know too much about them. However, as minimal as it may sound, the club you're involved with may serve as a benefit to the uniqueness of your application.

Good luck!

Oh, p.s., I feel you on that AP bio test. I wrote one of the essays about cellulite, not plant cellulose. It was amusing :)

yattas, do you know your class rank? if you do tell us

my school doesn't rank but my guidance counselr says in the top 25%. My school is so competitive its ridiculous.
Last year people go into:
6 Harvard
8 MIT
3 Penn
2 Princeton
18 Northwestern
12 Georgetown
12 Cornell
2 Cal Tech
3 Yale

I went down and counted all the schools that are ivies and powerhouse schools and i added up to over 40 people getting into schools like these or of similar caliber.

Not to mention tons of other GREAT schools. Its a class of 400 in a public school, its the third best in Massachusetts.

I thought your class rank would be lower because of the UW GPA, but it is pretty good considering the competitiveness of your school (guess the classes are hard).

Your school's reputation will be a positive factor in your admission, as colleges will see the type of students you are competing with.

I think you have a 40-60 percent chance of be accepted to those colleges on your list, except for Vanderbilt which may hold a 10-30 percent chance.
