My school offers 10 AP classes total.
I’ve had As and Bs

I had three recs from teachers (2 were alumni), and my counselor.
I feel like my essays were pretty solid I wrote one about how my time volunteering helped shape who I was. I chose the comfort food essay from the supplement, I wrote about a family members recipe and how it reminds me of my family and how instrumental they were in shaping me as a person.
UNC is my dream school and it always has been.
I know my GPA is a little low but that was because my middle school teachers refused to approve honors classes for me my freshman year. My counselor explains this in her rec.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

Hey! I’m a current UNC student! One thing I will say is don’t place too much importance on people chancing you. Absolutely no person, sans admissions staff, can tell you if you will or won’t get in. I’d say you have a fair chance, though. Your GPA and test scores are a tad low compared to the average student at UNC, but not by a whole lot. Good luck and I hope you are admitted!

Bump bump bump

I think that your extracurriculars, which are really good, class rank and course rigor will help you since your gpa and ACT are around average. since you are in state, i think you have a pretty good chance of getting in! good luck!

You’re in! Let’s hope I’m right ;)

Since its crunch time I’m freaking out. Any more opinions?
