Misc: My GPA should rise to at least a 4.05 if I keep my grades how they are. I have yet to take the official SATs but I will take them in April and I have already begun studying. I will take my SAT II tests in May. (I'll be taking US History, Math I, and possibly Biology or Writing). Also, I'm expected to be made captain of the Cross Country team and Soccer team for my Senior year.

I was accepted ED this year... and my stats are pretty much similar to yours. So I think you have a good shot.

Any chance you could play soccer for UVa? Have you expressed interest to anyone within the program?

I've been recruited by West Point (DI school) for soccer but I don't think I am UVA caliber. They are one of the top 30 programs in the US.

Also, this year in track, I'm probably not even going to qualify for regionals (I might have mono and my race is next week). Would that look bad that I made regionals as a 10th grader but not an 11th grader?

My son was just accepted To UVa so I am in no position to assess the talent needed (or walk-on possibilities) to play for their soccer program.

I do know college soccer coaches look for talent and speed and your credentials with soccer and track are impressive.

I think anyone interested in a college should demonstrate as many ways as possible their interest in the institution.
