Some comments? I guess BC will be my reach mainly b/c of my weak SATs but a comment will not hurt me!

Which school of BC are you applying to?

college of the liberal arts - art major

notwithstanding your SAT scores, your AP classes, GPA, interests make up for your SAT's a little bit. Since your an international applicant your financial need is factored in, and since you go to an a school outside the U.S. your GPA can be looked at less and the SAT's more. When factoring in all of these things I cant really say that you are a strong applicant. It all boils down to your essays, and if the Admissions officers feel you can bring something to the BC community. With a record 26,000 applicants with strong resumes you can never know for sure. Regardless you seem intelligent and BC is definatly not an impossible school for you to get into; I'd say you are somewhere 'in the range', and if I'm sure you will end up at a good school whether or not its B.C., good luck, dont be discouraged by what people tell you on these boards, we're not admissions officers, and were not experts of any kind, we're just going by the little experience we have with the college admissions process.

i go to high school inside the US. I go to a public school in Cambridge MA right next to Harvard... thus my GPA do not count less! Anyways, I know my SAT scores are not very high compared to the Wellesley ranges... though.

To add to what I've just said, I'm still an international student even if I go to school in US because I have citizenship in Korea. Anyways, whether I would get into BC or Wellesley or any other school, I am not going to be discouraged. (By the way, I've just got accepted to Syracuse, a little bit "lower" than BC or Wellesley...) Thanks for your note. Do please give me more feedbacks if you have anything more to say.

Can anyone say grade inflation/uncompetitive school?
