Chances?

I know these chance threads are a little annoying but I can't seem to find the Academic Data Reference book for FSU so i can't exactly figure out my chances.. (if anyone has it, could you send me the link, please?)

While your test scores aren’t ideal, they’re far from horrible. And FSU loves IB students, so you would more than likely be in with your current profile.

I would suggest that you recalculate your GPA to FSU’s scale, as a 5.3 GPA isn’t possible under FSU’s GPA recalculation. [You can use this worksheet to help you calculate everything.](http://cyberguidance.net/college/recalgpa.pdf)

Ok thank you so much  how about the Honors Program at FSU? How are my chances there?

You may research your own answers here: [The Florida State University | FSU Honors Program](http://honors.fsu.edu/)

No way will you get into the Honors Program with those scores. You would need at least a 29 on your ACT, probably better than that, according to the latest stats posted from last year’s class. I think the candidates are only getting better each year.

From the Honors Dept. link above:

The average academic profile of students that were offered honors invitation in 2012 was as follows: 4.3 academic GPA*; 31 ACT composite, and 2070 SAT total.

Yeah, with those test scores, you have pretty much no shot at the Honors program. You’d need somewhere in the neighborhood of a 30 ACT to have a decent chance (as pointed out above).
