The GPA is projected, though. Right now I’m standing at an unweighted GPA of 3.61 and a weighted GPA of 3.84. However, I calculated that if I get straight A’s next year I’ll have a GPA of 3.7/4.1. And I know I can do it, so :)

I keep editing this because I keep forgetting information lol sorry about that!!

If you are a rising senior, then you can not add your GPA. your GPA on application should be one from the junior.year, because you will be applying by january

Well it’s a long story, lol. I thought I was more suited for the ACT, and took that in June but turns out that I score much higher on the SAT, plus I’m more comfortable with the timing, so I’m taking that in October.

Well if I get a great SAT score, will I have a shot at Carnegie or Cornell? Honestly, those are my dream schools. I just am a little apprehensive because I don’t think I have much of a shot.

Thanks, iolnep I am considering applying ED to Carnegie, or ED to Cornell. What do you think would be better? I’d be ecstatic if I got accepted into either one.
