3.6 UF GPA
1970 sat
570 cr
690 w
710 m

Your UF GPA is low; your SAT is ok. Maybe retake it or take the ACT and see what happens?

Extracurricular activities are important also.

The recently admitted class had the following profile:

Mid 50% GPA: 4.1-4.5
Average GPA: 4.3
Mid 50% SAT: 1840-2100
Average SAT: 1967
Mid 50% ACT: 28-32
Average ACT: 30

I’d say low chance just because of the GPA

Your SAT is fine, but your GPA is a little low. You will need a strong Essay and ECs to make up for your GPA. Taking the SAT again and raising your score (In CR) could also help counter your GPA. Hopefully you’ve taken a rigorous course load, as that is something UF considers.

Other than that, if you’re a half way decent wide receiver, UF would sign you up TODAY! :)

Good Luck!

Assuming that the OP isn’t a football player, I’d say mid-low chance because of your GPA. However, UF has a holistic admissions process. They also consider work experience, awards, ECs, and leadership roles. You have not mentioned any of these. If these are good, they could make up for your GPA. Good luck on your application! :)
