Chances

I am a junior at a public high school and am curious of my chances at a top school (Stanford, Harvard). My grades in ninth and tenth grade were sort of slow, but this year I have had all A+s because I have been so motivated. Thanks for your feedback.

SAT I: 760 Math, 690 CR, 800 Writing (I am taking it again to get my CR score up)
SAT II: Haven't taken them yet
AP: World History 3, Government 4 (my school doesn't allow 10th graders to take many APs, but I am expecting to take 6 AP tests this year and do well in them...)
PSAT: 219
Class Rank: top 3%

i think you are excellent overall. But you should take some SAT II's and then come back and tell us what you got on those. It's still kinda early to tell, you know what i mean?

Also, what institutions are you intereste in? The ivies?

I'm thinking mostly Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, NYU.
Also, is my C in Latin last year a big deal? I stress out about it all the time.

EDIT: okay, didn't read the post thoroughly...headdesk

Your extracurriculars are great...I wouldn't stress out too much over that C in Latin.

A lot will depend on standardized testing...study hard for your AP exams this year since you didn't get any 5's last year. You should also take some SAT-II subject tests.
