Yearbook assnt. editor (11, 12), Jazz band, honor roll, NHS/CSF, newspaper, created independent magazine, hardcore creative writer, piano for 11 years, good recs

SAT's arnt that high, Im assuming cuban is URM, so thats a plus. GPA is good, do you have rank? your EC's help show interest in your major, since your a good writer I assume you have strong essays. Did you do any volunteering? that helps. In my opinion, you stand a good chance.

Dude, her SATs are 2110 (more importantly though, 1360 M/V), which is well within BC's range. Also, she has very strong SAT II's (top 2-770, 720).

I said she stands a good chance, Noone is 'in' to bc unless they recieve that big white package in the mail. Sorry if i was a bit ambigous but I was talking about the MATH score, its at the 25% but this year is quite competitive... And you guys are right, I think I was a bit too critical of her SAT's. But they are still below last years average, but by a little bit.

if we are just looking at verbal/math then I do tend to agree with you. a 1360 could be a hair below the average for this years accepted kids. I consider my 1380 to be right in the meaty part of the curve
