UCLA: Slight Reach

I disagree, I feel it's a match at worst. UCLA is not that difficult to get into if you have over a 4.0 and 2100 and most importantly are a California resident. All UC schools must have a 9/10 ratio of students that are California residents at each UC campus because California residents fund the UC system. I also feel that the UC schools are big on stats so your EC's shouldnt hurt you that bad either. Good luck!

UCLA: Match

The GPA is kind of low, but I'd still say match. Good luck!

what's your 10-11 UC GPA?

I think flopsy is right. A 4.1 GPA is kind of low for UCLA. I would say match because of SAT/SAT II and ECs, however, UCLA cares about GPA more than anything else.

slight reach

The reason why I said "Slight Reach" was because I considered her Grade 9-12 GPA (3.96) as the best representation of her real GPA... UCLA doesn't care about one's highest GPA because it doesn't belong on the application (4.45), nor does UCLA consider one's current GPA (4.10) because senior year doesn't count. Otherwise, I would have said "Match".
