Another antsy user here!

Transferring from two years of Community College with:

Clvl GPA 3.55
-Fairly rigorous course load (Calc I through IV, Differential Equations, 3 qtrs Calc. based Physics)

and a pretty stellar personal statement (rewritten for two weeks w/ the help of current students, advisors, and professors).

Extra-curriculars:
-Not many
-Full-Time student
-First-gen college
-I've built some cool engineering projects (my prospective major).

Please and thanks!
Good luck everyone!

When you transfer, a lot depends on the major you applying to also. What’s your? Are your stats above, on par, or below those who are admitted into your major?

I am applying to the Electrical Engineering major in Spring. However, for Winter quarter I am only applying to the University. About 8 kids from my Physics classes got accepted directly into that major for Fall Quarter, and my “stats” are on par with them.

Also, I tutored in the Math Center at my school for a year. I’m not sure if that counts for anything, but I mentioned it in my essay.

Thanks!

You should be fine then :)

You probably just added ten years to my life by de-stressing me. Thanks SeaTac!
