Chances?

Hello Everyone,
I was just wondering if I could get a rough idea of my chances of getting into M.I.T. as it is one of my top schools. I am currently a high school sophomore going to be a junior and go to one of the top high schools in the country.

-Activities-
Vice President Position in Robotics.
(2) Years JV Tennis (most likely Varsity for next two.
1 year volunteering at Kaiser Permanente (3 hours / week) (i'll have two more by the time I graduate).
Summer Class / Research at Berkeley.
Viola - 4 years

And I have this project I'm working on with a friend for junior year to build a homemade nuclear fusion reactor & do research on neutron production - it will be submitted to Intel / Siemens / Google Science Fairs when completed.

GPA ~3.80 for 9th & 10th grade (3.6 - 9th & 4.0 10th)

Standardized Tests (so far)
SAT Math II Subject Test: 800
AP World History: 5

Schedule next year:
AP Calculus BC
AP Chemistry
AP Biology
AP US History
Regular English
Ecology & Honors Analytical Chemistry (semester classes)
Orchestra

Thanks ahead.

So far, you have the grades, the academic rigor, test scores, and EC’s to be a competitive applicant. Taking the ACT and/or SAT will give you a better idea as well. As far as chances go, I’d say it’s a high reach just because it’s MIT and even the most qualified applicants get rejected. Just keep working hard and do lots of research on backup school, as there is no guarantee. Your project sounds interesting though, so definitely see that through! Good luck with junior year!
