Thats pretty cool that you skipped from geometry to calculus BC. I have never known anyone that has done that. (I guess thats why you're called "mathwiz".)

english isn't my first language and i'm guessing colleges will take that into account.

i jumped into calc mainly because i switched schools. the public school i went to was very strict and the entire grade had to take the same level of math (although honors vs. cp was a choice). at my school now, i took a placement test and because i knew precalc and trig from math club i got into calc. :)

If you want to get a gauge for who those schools admit/reject, you can always look through the threads dedicated to admissions decisions in each forum.

Where I came from, we had about 12 NOSB teams in the state, lol.

What's your class rank? Being in the top 10 percent is pretty important for these schools.

Ya, but we were somewhat lucky to finish second. We almost got eliminated before double elim, and then lost our first double elim match. in the quarterfinal, the other team interrupted and was incorrect because of exact wording, and we won on that question. in the semis, we were down by 4 points when the other team buzzed in, got it wrong, and then we buzzed in, got it right, and got the bonus to advance.

What effect will going to one of the best prep schools have on my app? I've heard some say that because so many people from my school are applying to top-notch colleges, my chances will be hurt. I've also heard some say that because my school is so rigorous and has so many great students, colleges will not hesitate to admit many people from the same school. Any thoughts?

I think you have a great shot (other than your verbal score as others have mentioned). By great shot i mean its still a reach, but you're definitely one of the applicants who would be considered. I don't think you're a high reach at all...
