No one is answering because your chances, regardless of your stats, are extremely low - just as it is for everyone. And because we all keep bumping the following thread for students asking this question over and over and over again.

Your answer is here - on the first page: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/1558825-what-are-my-chances-for-usc-final-answer-p1.html

I think we should give the OP a little slack – not everyone stumbles across the What Are My Chances post, and CC seems to encourage students to ask about their chances. Having said that, what do we have to do around here to get the moderator to sticky Madbean’s excellent post so we don’t have to keep bumping it or linking to it? (Good luck, @VegasLiving!)

I messaged the moderator yesterday and they did

OP - Any chance post for a school that uses the holistic approach to admission rather than simply looking at GPA/Test scores is just too tough for us mere CC posters to call. And it is risky to the person asking the question. USC is looking at you as a whole person - the entire application - which of course we don’t see. So for example, if we think someone’s GPA or test score is a little low, it wouldn’t be good to comment on it. First, the poster is typically a senior and can’t do anything to fix it at this point in time, so why make them feel bad, and second, it may be good enough to get them in because the essays or ECs are amazing, which again, we don’t see. If a person has amazing GPA and test scores, we still shouldn’t comment because of lot of those are turned away as well, because perhaps they lack anything else outstanding on their application, at least to the person evaluating it. We don’t want to discourage someone from trying and applying, nor do we want to make someone feel they are certain to get in because we just don’t know, and it could lead to extreme disappointment if they don’t. The best we can do is tell you to read the “What are my chances” thread to give you overview and to set realistic expectations in the competitive landscape that is college admission these days and in particular, at USC. But we all wish you luck!

@CADreamin - thank you. We’d all suggested making it a sticky - took you to make that happen. You’re a rock star in my book!

thanks guys :)

What does “bump” mean?? I see it on various threads; sorry this is not an answer to your question, just wondering!

People use “bump” to make the thread go to the top or “unread” status so people will notice it again, in many cases to say “This is still here, please reply.” Just like marking an email as unread, to get your attention.
