So, I'm applying to Fairfield regular decision. I've already applied/gotten into several Jesuit schools (Xavier, SLU, Creighton all with 14000-19000 merit scholarships). It looks like the acceptance rates are similar for those 3 and Fairfield, so I'm hoping I'm going to get similar results. I'm wondering what my chances are Fairfield? What do you think? Thanks!

I think you will get in, I got in with a 13,000 Loyola scholarship and I didn’t even submit my scores

Oh, and these are my stats:

31 ACT
3.1/3.74 GPA (UW/W)
All honors and AP classes from top 15 Illinois public HS
300+ Hours community service
Average Recs and well-written essay
4 years of track and multiple jobs
High income bracket and Caucasian
Male

@sikhjatt What do you think?

Yea u will definitely get into, I had a 3.9 uw gpa, I took apush in jr yr, ap cal, ap bio, ap gov, and ap span senior yr, I had 300 hours at a hospital, and was NHS secretary. But I didn’t submit my scores and I applied EA. Your scores are great so ur definitely getting in with a scholarship.

@Sikhjatt 3.9 UnWeighted? That’s really good! Alot better than my 3.1

Yea Unwieghted, but im really surprised that u didn’t get into Fordham, did u apply to Gabelli?

@sikhjatt Yea I applied to Gabelli Rose Hill. I think my gpa was the problem. I have a 3.1 Unweighted and 3.7 weighted. I was really disappointed that I didn’t even get deferred, just outright rejected…but I’m really hoping I get into Fairfield with some merit scholarships. Did you apply to Fordham?

Yea I got accepted to rose hill im majoring in biology trying to become a doc
