<p>I really am thinking about Rice University, it looks like a great place. Im also from the Northeast as well and URM.</p>

<p>I'd say you have a pretty good chance. I got waitlisted with similar scores/courseload and lesser extracurriculars.</p>

<p>get some more ec's and you are definitelty in. keep your grades up too</p>

<p>College admissions aren't predictable--there are too many intangibles (do your teachers like you for recommendations? Can you humbly, effectively, and creatively express yourself on paper? Can you interview well? Is Rice popular in your region?)--but if everyone were admitted exclusively on the type of stats you gave you stand a fair chance of admission. If you distinguish, or rather, characterize yourself, you stand a better one (but it's still a little random).</p>

<p>I got accepted with way lower stats. Just try to get more leadership spots (run for class office student, student council office, NHS office) and try to get a few more community service hours.</p>
