i know its hard to get in out of state..but i just wanted to know

bump...even tho im not expecting to really get in

i think you have a decent, if not good chance. you're math grade might hurt you a little, but overall your sat scores and grades are solid. your urm status is a big plus, so i think you should really work on that essay and make sure you shine! good luck. :)

I'd say you certainly have a chance, though I wouldn't be able to bet on the extreme in either direction. OOS isn't really a factor at Dartmouth, it's more that some states are seriously overrepresented, e.g. NY and NJ. MD seems to me as neither over- nor under-represented, so no net effect.

Just as an FYI, Who's Who isn't considered by colleges due to its subjectivity; I'd recommend leaving it off your app to give something more important to you more room to shine.

yea i made a mistkae posting that

are you a possible track recruit? if so, that would be very very helpful. make sure you take at least 2 SATIIs or ACTs instead. your grades and SATs could be a bit higher, but Ivys are always on the prowl for diversity so the ethnicity factor will help you a lot too. best of luck, i think things will work out for you :)
