Work Experience- 24 Crows- Upscale cafe I worked as the personal assistant to the owner taking management of items such as inventory. Also worked as a prep cook. (3 years)
Glen Gordon Manor- Select Registry Bed and Breakfast. I started as waiter assistant delivering plates and taking orders until i was promoted to a lead waiter role and given a section to oversee. Once promoted, I was also given responsibility as special events coordinator in charge of organizing sections as well as making sure event is fully staffed. In addition, I used to go into work early and help prep in the kitchen and was given responsibilities as a cook to learn the trade and another aspect of the buisness.(1 year)
Inn at Little Washington- Relais Chateaux, 6 James Beard Award, Forbes 5 star 25 years in a row, AAA 5 Diamond 27 years in a row, 2015 Travel and Leisure 30 Best hotel in the world and number 4 in America with less than 40 rooms. Just to give an idea.
Dining room experience include entry waiters assistant which is basic tasks such as serving bread,polishing stemware, or assisting table captains. Worked my way to back waiter which is one step down from table captain and puts you in charge of order input as well as ensuring food and beverage reaches table in timely manner.
Special Events- worked a variety of events from wedding to parties. similar to what i said about Glen Gordon Manor but with more leadership and charge over workers.
Kitchen- Am cook responsible for cold side breakfast which includes gourmet juice, croissants,muffin, and yogurt. Also a member of the prep team and a direct assistant to sous chef. I was also given the opportunity to become a butcher in training which is rare since most people go to culinary school for that.
Recommendations- good overall
Athletic Director- also a teacher who I’ve been helping with athletic related things since 6th grade
History Teacher- Helped him secure a 4th place in we the people state competition
Sous Chef- alumni of cornell hotel school
Owner of inn at little Washington- Also the director of Relais Chateaux North America
Most of my ECs are work experience as stated above but i am acting Key club president and former treasurer
