Background:
Im a second generation asian american. My parents’ highest level od education is graduating high school so im the first to plan on graduation college too. Im also the oldest of 3 siblings
Academics:
4.06 gpa weighted
2000 sat score
720 sat subject math 2 score
Went to Virginia governors school summer before junior yr for visual and performing arts (viola)
Went to va girls state summer before senior year
Rigorous class schedules

Extracurriculars:
7 yrs of viola and private lessons
5 yrs of the top regional orchestra
Good seat positions in regional and county orchestras
Ensemble playing and leading for 2 yrs
Church yg leader for 3 yrs
Jobs: turoring middle schoolers and book clubs
Other: did an admissions interview and went to local admissions meetings, tours, campus visits

Also, i have over 300 hrs of community service from humanities programs and the ensemble. In the ensemble i lead, we go to local nursing homes to play for them :’)

I think your chances are very good. The only concern is SAT score, if you were a guy I’d say you were almost a sure bet, but girls here have much higher SAT scores.
