Hi, im an OOS resident from MA.
I have a 3.57 W gpa
22 ACT
CR+M SAT of 1050. (Taken 4 times)
I know, all really low scores… I am not a good test taker.
I have taken every honors class since freshman year and take AP classes my senior year.
I have been my Class Representative for 11th and 12th grade.
The yearbook editor for my senior year, and I am elected into the National Honor Society.
Varsity sports all 4 years of high school.
I just really want to know my chances considering I applied October 9th, and still have not heard anything back. This is my number one school and would do anything to get in.
Hey there!
As you mention, your testing isn’t the best but certainly not the worst. If you spent the time writing quality essays and have sold recs I think you have a shot!
I’m not sure how your school works but your rank could be especially important. For me, competitions and professional research probably tipped the scale in my favor. If you wrote about such activities in your resume, they would definitely help! However, you do have some solid leadership positions.
My advice is to not fret it. You will make it into a great school! There is nothing you can do now to really affect the outcome. Just stay positive and enjoy your holiday break!
