The 25-75%ile ACT of admitted students from this year’s freshman class is 30-33, so you are on the low side, but you probably have a shot with the rest of your stats being strong. I would consider UR to be a bit of a reach for you. If accepted, you would not likely get offered any merit aid, but UR does meet 100% of financial need if admitted.
Would EDII drastically help for my chances of being admitted?
I don’t think it will “drastically” help your chances, but it could help some since you are likely being seen in a smaller pool, and the admissions will know that Richmond is your top choice since you are applying ED. Good luck with everything!
@Moose21 I agree with @RichmondSpider94, ED would give you a bit of a boost. If you and your family are satisfied with the financial situation you would have at UR (you have run the Net Price Calculator and parents are ok with your net price) without merit scholarships, go for it. Good luck to you
You have great grades, so go for ED2 if UR is your top choice.
