At the end of Junior year calculate your UC GPA: https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/. (A-G courses for 10-11th grade).
As an OOS applicant, you will only get extra Honors credit for your AP classes in 10-11th grades. UC’s do not recognize OOS Honors designated classes for the extra honors points in the calculation.

Your SAT looks good but it will definitely help to bump it up into the 2200+ range for the best chances. Senior grades are not considered in UC admissions, but HS course rigor will be considered.

Since you state your income range is around $80K, I will caution you that OOS applicants no longer get financial aid from the UC’s, so expect to pay $55K/year to attend. Unless you are the top 1-2% of applicants, merit aid is not available either.

Good Luck.

UCLA’s averages were 4.31 GPA and 31 ACT in Fall 2014.

Since you’re OOS, UCLA calculates your weighted GPA with bonus points for AP courses (not honors) only. Other than that, your test scores look good, and being a first-generation student will definitely give you a boost.
