excellent

Why not ED I?

Did they know that you visited?

I cant take my SAT IIs till November 5 so i cant apply ED I with my SAT IIs. The 700s were my most recent practice tests.

And yes, they know i visited.

Emory does not require SAT IIs

I was under the impression i should take them anyway to increase my chances... would applying EDI without SATIIs be better than applying EDII with SATIIs?

Apply EDI if you believe your SATs are good enough (which they are/going to be) and beat out the large WashU/Ivy League reject rush.

Then having no SATIIs wouldnt hurt me too bad?

I got in with a high SAT score and no SATIIs. I also know many other people that got in without reporting SATII scores

How much do my grades hurt me? I know i should go another year but i have personal reasons that makes this not an option. And considering im applying ED emory wont see any of my senior grades... rambles

If you get that 1500+ it's all you need, even a 1410 is all you prob. need for ED. What is your GPA/ rank?

Well, the grades do not help your chances. However, they are only freshman grades. Upward grade trends are very helpful! I had a lower than average GPA, but I believe that upward trends, difficult courses, and high SAT scores can help you overcome the GPA (besides, the GPA isn't bad, just not great).

My rank is top 10%. My GPA is about a 3.1 i think....

wow, top 10% with a 3.1. it must be a pretty hard school and I am sure they would take that into account.

Its actually a very bad school. The teachers are no good and in a sense give out random grades... not good times.
