Thanks For Chancing Me!

You look like a competitive applicant. UCLA/UCB will also use uncapped weighted UC GPA so more than 8 semesters of honors credit. I like to use this calculator for the capped weighted: https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

If you are undecided and want to possibly get into a capped/impacted major, it is in your best interests to try and get a direct admit since switching later may prove to be problematic.

If you have outstanding essays to go along with your test scores and EC’s, you have a good chance at all the UC’s on your list although your UC GPA a bit low for UCLA/UCB.

I’m assuming you are in-state for CA? Your chances are good but not definite (GPA is a little low for any of these to be a sure thing, but your ECs look great). So just make sure you have a backup you would be happy with.

I’m actually an out-of-state applicant, and I actually didn’t know the UC GPA was uncapped, so the one I calculated above was capped. Also, what majors have capped GPA’s?

Just so you’re aware, @AmberLee2016 – and finances may not be an issue for your family – but the UC system will stop providing FA for OOS students next year. That said, you’re a very qualified applicant for all but Berkeley, and Berkeley is a crapshoot for all the qualified applicants regardless (because the adcom gets so many more than they can accept).

Your international award from DECA is very impressive! I think you have a good shot for all these schools, although, Berkeley and UCLA will be crapshoots. If you have time, you should focus on raising your GPA.

Thanks for everyone who chanced me so far! Should I even bother applying to Berkeley and UCLA? Or should I spend more time applying to other schools I have a shot at? Do I even remotely have a shot at those schools?
