Also, want to go to law school. Any recommendations for undergraduate?
Should I take any SAT subject tests or the ACT?

I can't really help you about your admission chances, but what I can tell you is the magic list for standardized tests:
- 1 SAT I
- 1 ACT w/writing
- 3 SAT IIs (be sure to include a math or science and a language if possible)

Everything looks great except for SAT. I got in, and you have much, much, MUCH better ECs than me. Just bring the SAT up and you should have a good chance.

With the new SAT, you will only need to take two SAT II tests. Or you can take the ACT instead of the SAT I/II combo.

At Dartmouth you would still need to take 2 SAT IIs even if you take the ACT.

Agree. You have great EC's, but the SAT score is low. It's possible that being Hispanic will compensate somewhat for that, however. My son, who is also Hispanic, got into Dartmouth with EC's which are not as impressive as what other Ivy kids seem to have, but his SAT scores were much higher than yours. So... my guess is you have a good shot!

You live in San Antonio (Clark!)!

A language for the SAT IIs? Does the combination of Chinese, lit, math IIc or lit, math, physics sound beta? * I am a Canadian residing in china

Well obviously the 2nd one...it has lit, which most students take, and doesn't include a free 800 (Chinese).

Whatcha know about Clark!

If you can boost the SAT 50-100 pts you have a great shot.

To give you a personal perspective, I am also a Hispanic male, I had very similar stats to you including your SAT's (got a 2000) and rank (3/200), so the only thing missing is some pretty sweet SAT II's and you should be in a pretty awesome spot (plus I didn't play any sports in high school), especially since I managed a likely letter at both Dartmouth and Cornell funny enough, so good luck w/ everything.

good chance at nyu...get ur sat to 2100+ for cornell

Yeah, you are in. Try and boost the SAt if you can though.
