<p>I will get a recommendation from a Harvard Alum, and send in a CD of some opera arias. I'm thinking of applying EA.</p>

<p>SATI is on lower side. Should retake SATI again to reach 2300 or close to it.</p>

<p>I'd say your SAT score is in the safe range. Your GPA is fantastic and so is your class rank. Nice set of AP classes and you have some nice focuses in your extra-curriculars, like being involved with the arts, languages, etc. Definitely send a CD of arias. Nice to see you have an internship under your belt. Teaching and lifeguarding are also a plus. A recommendation letter from a Harvard alum will only do you good if you know the person for a reason other than his or her being a Harvard alum. Harvard gives slight preference to applicants who are family members of Harvard students or alums, not necessarily to someone who knows someone who went to Harvard. Just make sure it comes across as coincidental.</p>
