Any thoughts about admission and aid?

hello out there?

SATs are great, GPA could be better. Do you have any idea how competitive your class is and where you might stand with your GPA in comparison?

You're in-----I know A LOT of people with 1120's and 3.5's that got in.GPA is important but excellent SATS compensate for mediocre GPA's.

Is Smeal hard/competitive?

smeal is one of the tougher schools to get into. I am going to be a frosh in the fall there. Alot of my friends who applied for smeal got placed in DUS. If anyone has any ?s feel free to message me

What is DUS? Is that good?

DUS stands for division of undergraduate studies. Its a school for entering frosh and soph who arent sure yet what they want to major in. DUS is a little less competitive than smeal. However, it is still possible to transfer into smeal after soph yr. The largest amount of Frosh also start their studies in DUS. Also, check off summer if you are not sure you will be offered admissions. PSU was pretty liberal with their admissions offers this year, so most likely it will prob harder to get in.

thanks guys
