<p>I want to go to a decent school but I need non-need-based merit aid. I need at least $10,000 a year. Here is my info</p>

<p>SAT I: 2170 (V:710, M:690, W:770) ...i'm going to take it again in october though so it may go up</p>

<p>I have a 4.12 GPA on a 4.5 scale...it's about a 4.6 weighted</p>

<p>9th grade (i'm not listing minor electives)
World Cultures Honors - A+

<p>Any suggestions as to what colleges I should apply to that might give me some non-need based aid but are also decent schools?</p>

<p>Also, any ideas on how I can obtain some leadership (I couldn't get any positions in clubs at my school)?</p>

<p>UPitt will give someone like you the aid you desire and put you in the honors program. I'm sure you know about rutgers deal too for instaters. Most Public Universities give applicants like you merit aid.</p>

<p>You could try starting a club about something you are passionate about, and make yoursef the founder and president.</p>
