Do I even have a shot given my poor GPA?

You go to Southridge don't you?

Seriously, wait another year and see how you do. IB can kill some and be fine for others. I managed a 4.0 in Full IB and just received my scores. Without firm estimates, it's hard to judge your chances.

And you do not have a poor gpa. If you explain a "b," they should throw your app out because you obviously only care about the grade, not learning. This probably isn't true, but you'd come across that way. Anyway, you have som egood ec's, but remember cmc likes leadership. I don't see much of that, but I do see good activities nonetheless.
