Chances?

1250 reading and math
Ib program-All classes are honors, IB or AP. 6-7 Aps
EC: NHS, Latin club with some awards, Art club, Brain Brawl regional 2nd place, Beta club. Lacrosse, tennis (not on school team), bronze in state jr olympic pistol, 4-H, ~100 community service.</p>

<p>I'll also be applying early decision. But if I dont want to take summer classes, will this be a disadvantage?</p>

<p>Oh and I am instate.</p>

<p>I have a strong background in art. With advanced art classes, Does this help?
Also does being asian help? Or do they only look at "minorities" like hispanic, black</p>

<p>I've only taken the SAT once, i'll be taking it again in october.</p>

<p>A lot of the people accepted have 4.0 unweighted. In my senior class there are only 2 people with 4.0 gpa is this normal?</p>

<p>If you weren't in IB I would say definitly get those SATs up but UF loves claiming they have the most IB students in the world so that will help you a lot. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to get those scores up to be on the safe side.</p>

<p>A decent GPA with IB looks really good @ UF - but you are gonna want to get your SAT's up - couple of years ago those would have been ok - but not anymore. Other than that - keep up the good work and finish strong</p>
