<p>i think steve's trying to (or maybe not) make a point here. reading from his previous posts, he states "This is obviously not Harvard if you get what I mean." and it's true. sure, UW may be called one of the "public ivies", however, it's considerably easier to get in compared to harvard.</p>

<p>also, with the new holistic approach, it's somewhat hard to see whether one would be accepted. no one here is an admission's officer for UW. with that said, let's leave the chances to ourselves, and focus on the future instead. </p>
